Truth or Lies? What’s in your belief system?

A GROWING AWARENESS

Truth, lies and belief systems are at work.

I think by now we can agree on some basic construction details, the ufo question notwithstanding. Do we seek truth or accepts lies? How do we know the difference? Are we limited by our belief systems? Ala… truth lies, belief systems.

If we want to understand the matrix we have to start small. By small I mean from an atomic truth lies & belief systemslevel. We’ve got some building blocks that comprise each atom, with the exception of one and I’ll get into that later.

So we’ve got protons, neutrons and electrons, right? Those are the basic particles, even if they’re just waving as they go by our insensitive eyes. Let us not forget, though, that 99% of each atom is space. We don’t know what is in it, but it’s widely considered that in that space is some kind of consciousness, or a least energy we cannot measure.

It’s also widely accepted that we have a certain almost imperceivable and yet dramatic effect on our experience through our thoughts and feelings. Experiencers report intense shifts in their awareness during events, like their belief systems are suspended for a short time as some inexplicable sensation permeates their being. They cannot describe it completely, yet the most common attempt includes a sense of intense love, even fearlessness.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

I’ve listened to so many conspiracy stories and theories over the years (30 or so). On some level, the probability of at least some of them seems conceivable. There certainly is enough attention on them and far more blogs, groups and websites that promote such things. We’re under threat of something at every turn.

On the level of intention and materialization, the attention given to these things (aberrant as they may be) might well contribute to the manifestation and proliferation of them. I’m sure that is what we all want right? NOT! We need to become more aware and manage our thoughts.

truth, lies & belief systemsIn the last decade or so the town cryers have subsided to a large degree. Instead they are turning to the claims of those who are deemed whistleblowers for most all their information. Those with the most outlandish stories have the loudest voice and apparent credibility based on the amount of attention they get. Of course, they certainly engage the curious and gullible in their stories.

There seems to be a faction of some galactic network that likes to engage local governments and military intelligence to further some agenda no one is really clear on yet. You can take your pick of several scenarios that apparently control people through fear and nanotechnology. Are those off-planet or on-planet scenarios? Meanwhile, appearances of craft are reported from around the world and no direct contact seems to be occurring. If it did, we’d know about it, right?

TRUTH OR LIES – LITMUS TEST

How do we tell the truth? I suppose how you read that question is where it might start. There are at least two ways to read it. One way is truth telling has a certain vulnerability that comes along with it, an inner looking place that becomes transparent in conversation. The other also has a different kind of vulnerability in seeing things as they are, not how we want them to be.

retrocausality - truth, lies & belief systems

Back to the future… or is it retrocausality? Some investigators of quantum physics (theorists) look at the possibility of time travel, producing our future ahead of time and then acquiescing to it. For an advanced consciousness that uses much more of its cranial capacity and understanding of universal laws… perhaps involving synchronicity. Currently, to consider such things only serves to distract us from understanding the present moment, imho.

There are resonant fields in the tests of truth, questions that reveal answers that create a sense of vibrational harmony within the human consciousness that is exploring any phenomena to seek understanding of it. These fields create sensations, sublime and subtle, that one can experience and are evident in the vast majority of ‘contact’ events involving an intelligence beyond human.

POPULAR REASONS WHY PEOPLE BELIEVE

(Brent Cunningham –

Before we take a look at what I think are the three essential tests for evaluating any truth-claims, let’s briefly look at some popular, but less than stellar reasons often used by people to test whether or not something is true—the claim and then a response:

1. Instinct — “It seems true to me.”
To this statement we must simply ask . . .
. . . Why?  What is guiding one’s instinctual ability to judge between competing truth-claims?
2. Feelings — “I like the feeling I get.” or “It feels right.”
. . . Can feelings be mistaken?
3. Wish fulfillment — “The God that I (want to) believe in would never send someone to hell.”
. . . Maybe not, but the God one wants to believe in may not be the God who actually exists.  We can never determine objective truth simply by what we want to be true.
4. Custom — “This is the way I / my family / my culture has always been.”
. . . Can they be mistaken?  What if one came from a Nazi background?
5. Popularity contest — “Well, ‘everyone’ believes it.”
. . . Again, can ‘everyone’ be wrong?  Counting noses is never a good means of determining truth.
6. Pragmatism — “It works for me, therefore it must be true.”
. . . However, almost anything can ‘work’ for a time.  Truth works overall.  For instance, a belief may ‘work’ at ridding oneself of guilt by denying it rather than absolving it.
7. Significance — “It gives my life meaning.”
. . . Is the meaning simply the result of wish-fulfillment or is it connected with reality?

Obviously, all of the above reasons for believing something to be true seem deficient and not the best tests to determine whether or not a truth-claim is really true (although, #s 6 & 7 do seem to be better candidates that #s 1-5).  Nevertheless, I think there are three criterion for testing truth-claims which, when used together, offer us the best chances of determining true beliefs.  Here they are.

1.  Internal Coherence — This is a test for rational consistency.  This asks if a belief makes sense?  We need to determine whether beliefs are rationally consistent within themselves and in relation to others beliefs of one’s larger worldview.  Some beliefs are known to be self-referentially inconsistent, or self-defeating.  An example might be the belief that all “knowledge” is scientific knowledge.  This is obviously self-defeating because the belief itself is not a scientific statement.  Therefore, the belief dies by its own standard for knowledge.

Another way a belief can fail this test is when two beliefs are in contradiction with each other, meaning that at least one of the beliefs must be false.  So, we must ask if the beliefs hold together?  For example, if a person is a Naturalist (believing that human life is accidental, random, and without ultimate purpose), he cannot then introduce the belief that we have an objective moral obligation to treat another person justly or with kindness.

Now, while the internal coherence test is essential for determining if something is true, it is not sufficient.  That is, consistency alone does not determine truth.  Consider this example: If Hillary Clinton is President, Bill Clinton is the First Man.  Hillary Clinton is President.  Therefore Bill Clinton is the First Man.  This argument is completely coherent and consistent.  However, it’s not true.  So, we need to add other criterion to the internal coherence test.

2.  External Correspondence — This test asks if a belief fits the facts of reality.   Does it correspond to the real world?  Proposed truth-claims must have explanatory power, or the ability to give account for our experience of the world (whether it be history, science, psychology, human nature, etc.).  For instance, a worldview can be tested by its ability to explain cosmological questions like the origin of the universe; anthropological questions like the existence of minds and free will; moral questions like the existence of evil and our experience with guilt.

Further, the explanatory power of truth-claims should (a) be comprehensive in scope—able to explain more or better than alternative theories; (b) have predictive power—suggesting new evidence and problems; (c) have precision—accounting for more details; (d) be illuminating—integrating otherwise unrelated data; (e) avoid ad hoc hypotheses—functioning only to explain away counter-evidence; (f) be simple—not needlessly multiplying the basic concepts, assumptions, and principles of an explanation.

3.  Functional Adequacy — This tests the livability of a truth-claim as a belief.  Is it a viable belief “on the street”?  Does it work in real life?  Some views sound good on paper, but are proven false in the laboratory of life.  Consider an eastern guru who asserts that the physical world is an illusion, yet he still looks both ways before crossing the street.  A person cannot live out such an illusory belief of the world for very long (or he’ll be hit by a bus before long!).  Even more than that, a belief system must integrate one’s life.  It must incorporate and meet the deepest human needs.

SUMMARY
In evaluating the truth or falsity of  propositions/truth-claims/beliefs, we must be sure to always look for three things: internal coherence (the logical), external correspondence (the factual), and functional adequacy (the livable).  For a belief to be true it must be meaningful, it must line up with the real world, and it must not only help us survive in daily life, but allow us to flourish.  Consequently, these are also the three areas in which our thinking can and does go wrong: logic, facts, and values.

THE DISCREPANCY

I said I’d get back to it. Every atom, with the exception of hydrogen, has all three components. We know that. What most of us don’t know is that not only does hydrogen fuel our sun, it also is the bonding agent in our DNA. The cosmic connection is more than mere circumstance, yet we don’t understand it yet.

It’s like the protons being hurdled into each other to create a particle that has no mass itself, yet gives mass to others. (Higgs-boson) The more consistent reality is that the explosion would create a rip or hole in the dimensional fabric (M Theory) instead. The ‘repair’ of that hole or rip might then appear as something disappearing, much the same as which scientists believe the Higgs-boson acted. But I digress…

Back to our genetic makeup, specifically our double helix strands of DNA. It is true that we have two hydrogen bonds between A/T base pairs and three between G/C base pairs. Consider the same intelligence behind the creation of solar systems and biological inhabitants of them. There would have to be a connection that bridges the two, right? Is this a possible connection?

On the Spiritual Side – Who’s Running the Show

I’m so thrilled to see the writings of several folks who’ve stood up to explore the greater possibilities of contact and what it might mean for us all. It’s triggered some memories for me and I did a little digging. I’d like to share an article I wrote in 1988 back before the Internet. The article is from a local metaphysical newspaper called Krystal Lighten published in August of 1988.

My eldest daughter’s name happens to be Krystal, so the ‘coincidence’ was very special. She’s a grandmother now.  It was the first article I had published and I’ve included it here with typos corrected. Admittedly, it could be written better. The point is that it’s nearly 30 years ago and we’re just getting to this kind of consideration in Ufology now.

On the Spiritual Side

Who’s Running the Show?

Have you ever wondered just what is really going on in your life? Would you care to entertain some interesting thoughts about this subject? Are you willing to question your beliefs?

We, I’m not going to cause major heartburn, yet there are some very interesting ideas I would like to present to you for contemplation; ideas that have taken an entire lifetime to come to this point of consideration and explanation.

First of all, we, as a planet, have been visited by numerous exterrestrial investigators. Why are they not more communicative with our world? Could it be that we are still so barbarous that we are not worthy of being taken into their confidence?

It seems as though our philosophy has been that if we try to make contact and are not acknowledged, we automatically believe we should take aggressive action to capture or shoot down the object of our communication attempt. A prime example is the Iranian airliner incident.

However, could the purpose of their visits be to begin the process of preparations for our planet to enter into the scheme of universe activities?

Second, our brains are only functioning at minimum levels of efficiency. What is the rest of the capacity that is untapped used for and how do we access it? Could it be that we are all “tuned in” at a level that we are not consciously aware of yet?

It seems to be popular belief that those with great understanding, such as Einstein, have had more use of the recesses of the brain. What about those who have various psychic abilities? We presently have five known senses with the “psychic” senses grouped into possibly one more.

We have five or six senses with the use of 10% of our brains. Could we deduce that as many as 45 senses are available with the other 90% of our brain capacity?

Lastly, many discoveries have been made in genetic engineering in recent years. Just how much more do we not know about the purpose of our genetic makeup? Could we all have a genetic predisposition that presupposes our ego-driven realities?

Many feel the time is coming for the planet to evolve into the next phase of our existence. The “plan” has not yet fully been revealed yet many groups are working on bringing new approaches to our everyday lives.

But just who is going to be responsible for engineering the cohesive efforts of all the groups to achieve such an age of enlightenment? Is it just going to “happen”?

Could the genetic makeup of certain individuals be such that they would be able to efficiently engineer the beginnings of the “New World Order” and be able to lead the rest of the planet toward our rightful place in universe status?

A New Effort

We’ve reached out to several authors who are respected among peers to become contributing authors here on Ufology Press. We look forward to their participation and are sure you’ll find their articles insightful and investigative. Thanks for your attention.

So many years later, I’ve written a number of books as well. Two of them that are getting great responses are Cosmic Conundrum – Who Am I? and Stubbing My TOE on Purpose.

MECHANISMS OF CONTACT, “PRIME CONTACTEES “

MECHANISMS OF CONTACT, “PRIME CONTACTEES “

Introduction

When I first described this type of UFO experiencer in May of 2014, I was surprised to see a controversy result. My description of the so-called “prime contactees” was labeled by some as “elitist.” I was accused of trying to create a popularity contest in which ordinary contactees’ role would be seen as insignificant next to the “supreme status” of the so-called “primes.” Fellow senior contact activists angrily informed me that I was being “divisive.”

Well I certainly didn’t intend to trigger such a controversy. Responding to those offended I wrote a second article with the title “Prime Contactees Are Just the Tip of the Iceberg.” The original controversial blog in an edited form is presented as Part 1 below.

As part of this introduction I should point out that the term “contactee” is in many ways outdated. The “ee” ending suggests a passive role in English, as in “employee” or “payee.” The “er” or “or” endings suggest a more active role as in “worker, soldier, mentor.”

For those who have joined a contact team, or have carried out contact protocols on their own, reaching out to the intelligence behind the UFO phenomenon can involve much mental, physical and most importantly spiritual work. Thus in my view the designation “contact worker” is superior to “contactee.”

In addition contactees historically have focused on the bizarre and often mystifying nature of their contact experiences. In a sense their personal encounters have been the message. This was a fairly constant feature of the UFO clubs during the 1950s that had thousands of members and celebrated the alleged encounters of contactee subculture celebrities like George Adamski and others.

“Contact workers” I imagine in contrast to “contactees” envision their ongoing encounters as part of a worldwide transformation of consciousness that links the flying saucer phenomenon with necessary solutions to the seemingly insurmountable problems that humanity is facing. I am referring to the scourges of war, hunger, racism, and global climate change. So for those of us who are part of what I like to call “The Contact Underground” let’s drop the term “contactee.” Since we are doing a lot of work on this issue, another alternative could be “contact workers.” If this sounds to “old left” the alternative “contact activists” will do just fine as well.

WHO ARE THE PRIME CONTACTEES AND WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?

And the potential for creating a new kind of social movement.
Joseph Burkes MD 2015

As the UFO truth movement grows and increasing numbers of young people are excited about the possibilities of encountering intelligent life in the cosmos, the special role of a very select group of UFO experiencers should be examined. In the early 1990s I became an organizer for a number of contact groups. Since then I have observed a small number of remarkable individuals who more or less match the criteria for being what I have termed “prime contactees.”

A “prime contactee” is a UFO experiencer that has some of the following characteristics,

1. Apparent contact with UFO intelligence from childhood or as a young adult that involves special training in consciousness-based communication and the concomitant development of other advanced psychic abilities. This often involves meditation practice as a youth and is typically initiated without any apparent parental or other adult supervision.

2. Repeated sightings of UFOs when other people are present to verify that the “primes” can share their ongoing contact experiences with others.

3. A sense of “mission” involving informing the public of the importance of contact, or playing a supporting role for other contactees who are educating society on this topic. Forming new contact groups or joining existing networks is another manifestation of activities derived from a sense of having a personal mission.

4. In the most advanced “primes,” perhaps people like Dr Steven Greer or the man that I call “Misha” in my reports, they are likely having ongoing mental communication with UFO intelligence. This might even include direct telepathic communication (voice in the head) with the intelligence responsible for flying saucers.

5.This last feature is particularly risky for primes. If the larger society learns of such capabilities, those individuals will be mistakenly labeled as a “kooks” and be subjected to intense ridicule. Their sanity will almost certainly be questioned and forced psychiatric evaluations could also result.

6.More importantly if the primes’ special link to an extraterrestrial intelligence becomes known by the control groups, (those powerful clandestine forces attempting to keep a lid on the UFO situation), in my opinion at a minimum the primes will be subjected to intense surveillance.

HOW THE CONTROL GROUPS OPERATE AGAINST THE CONTACT NETWORK

In my opinion there is a high probability that private contractors working for the control groups are being recruited from government intelligence services to monitor and even harass high-level contactees. Thus these servants of the status quo probably see the primes as “enemy agents of influence” working for what I like to call “a higher intelligence agency.”

In some very unpleasant instances prime contactees have even been attacked by what might be called “psychotronic” technology. I personally learned of the effects of such attacks on contact activists when I was closely associated with Dr Greer’s Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence during the years 1992 to 1998.

Under certain circumstances the control groups in a less confrontational mode might even attempt to co-op primes with offers of money and access to privileged information available only to “insiders.” This kind of co-opting effort reportedly happened to Dr Greer while attending a UFO conference in the spring of 1992. He shared this information with the CE-5 Initiative Working Group Coordinators, including me, Shari Adamiak and Wayne Peterson. Alas these last two prominent contact workers are now deceased.

Indeed the passing of many of the first generation of North American contact activists is one of the reasons why I am initiating this “The Contact Network History Project.” My hope is to share these narratives with the current and future generations of contact workers. Jeff Becker’s anthology “Paths to Contact” of which I am one of many co-authors has a similar goal. I recommend it to all members of the network.

THE PERILS OF BEING A PRIME

To be a prime contactee I imagine is a heavy cross to bear. If the special relationship with non-human intelligence is made public, critics will likely deem primes “insane.” On the other hand once their extraordinary ability to attract UFOs is established within the flying saucer subculture, the primes are often turned into celebrities. They are treated as if they are special (which they are in many ways) but unfortunately some may start believing that they are better than everyone else (which they are not!)

So the contact network may need to protect prime contactees, not only from a doubting larger society in which mainstream media will make fun of them, and from the control groups that may try to “neutralize” them, but strangely enough contact activists may need to protect the primes from themselves as well, from an egoism which is reinforced by people’s tendency to engage in hero worship.

THE DANGERS OF EGO -BASED CONFLICTS

This last point is apropos to what I believe happened to the Peruvian based Rama contact group back in the 1990s. Rumors of plagiarism and the use of donations to fund what was characterized as affluent life styles, appears to have played a major role in causing that once vibrant group to implode. According my sources within ranks of this very important organization their numbers were decimated. In fighting among the leadership resulted in much disappointment that turned into bitterness.

Uncontrolled adulation in susceptible individuals might “turn” prime contactees from the altruistic path of serving a nascent “contact movement” to the more selfish position of insisting that their supporters should service them! I am referring to the tendency of contact groups to take on aspects of cults.

“Servicing” the primes might involve giving them large amounts of money, often under questionable circumstances, the granting of sexual favors and in general satisfying their personal needs to feel important and to be the center of attention.

From decades of social cause activism during the 1960s through 80s, I learned that in order for radical reform campaigns to succeed they need to fire up the enthusiasm of the grass roots and not focus on the many strengths while ignoring the weakness of those leading them.

THE BIG PICTURE

This analysis is offered within the hopeful framework that a benevolent and technologically advanced ET civilization is at this moment interacting with humanity. My hope is that their presence will inspire us to create an Earth civilization based on peace, cooperation and social/economic justice. I believe this is true because such ethical advancements, including the forever banning all war, is in my judgment a precondition for any alien culture to travel across the sea of stars.

In the absence of such radical cultural advancements in an ET civilization, the powerful energy systems required for interplanetary and/or inter-dimensional travel would be applied to create weapons so powerful that their evitable use would destroy the very civilization that created them, thus preventing them from getting very far out into space beyond their star system of origin.

THE BENEFITS AND RISKS OF ADVANCED ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES.

Currently there is much speculation about the possibility that if the advanced propulsion systems that allow flying saucers to operate were downloaded into our technological culture, then tremendous benefits would accrue. If advanced technologies were used for peaceful purposes, then global warming, environmental pollution and even world poverty and hunger might be eliminated.

In the short term our achieving this kind of sweeping political and economic transformation is a big “if.” For such dramatic events to happen, the control groups’ campaign labeled the “UFO truth embargo” in my judgment would have to be self-curtailed or overcome by a stronger force. Such a force I imagine could very well be a skillfully organized and adequately funded future “contact movement.” This would by necessity involve not hundreds of activists worldwide, (my estimate of our current strength) but rather require millions of dedicated participants.

In addition negotiations with the so-called “ETs” to obtain their technology would likely only occur under conditions of world peace. This would be necessary to ensure that advanced technologies would not be used militarily against the alleged “aliens” as well as these technologies being used against ourselves.

THE FUTURE OF THE CONTACT MOVEMENT

This long-term plan to create a contact movement will require the participation of countless activists. As the ranks of contact workers increase, as it appears to be happening now, then I imagine that the importance of those that I call prime contactees will likely decrease.

Creating a new kind of social movement linking UFOs to solutions for the major problems confronting mankind is indeed a very ambitious project. Critics will likely say, “It’s an impossible dream.” My reply is that we will either evolve as a race of intelligent beings or we will destroy our civilization by war and man made environmental catastrophes.

If creating a bright peaceful future both here on Earth and in the cosmos is called “impossible” by the so-called “authorities,” then I have but one thing to say to contact activists, “Be realists: demand the impossible!”

About the author: Dr Burkes volunteered as a Working Group Coordinator for the CE-5 Initiative from 1992 till 1998. He has continued to study the flying saucer phenomenon working with MUFON and the Peruvian contact network now called Rahma. Dr Burkes retired from the Southern California Pemanente Group after thirty years service in 2008. He is a board certified internal medicine physician and is licensed to practice in California.

Cosmic Conundrum – Who Am I?

Who are you? Really… Who are you? This workbook is an expository guide to facilitate multidimensional awareness. Are you a spiritual being having a human experience? Would you like to wake up the human to the spiritual experience? A point of perspection (introspection/perception) dances in the balance of the seer’s vision.

Have you suffered from the limited experiences and thinking of others? Is it possible that you might have galactic origins from elsewhere in the Milky Way?

Many are awakening to the potential of galactic citizenry and/or spiritual connectedness beyond the notion of reincarnation. I can help you engage contact experiences and garner opportunities for developing your personal abilities and/or ‘gifts.’

This psychospiritual coursework is designed to bridge worlds, build relationships across dimensions and transform lives. What you may think you know about extraterrestrials, guardian angels and spiritual beings will be challenged as you explore the pages of this book.

Points of view differ regarding our origins and the development of human beings through their ‘dominion’ on earth. What if there was more to the story that we haven’t even explored yet because we’ve been too terrestrially focused in our ‘outer’ living environment? What is your natural state of being? Is there more? Would you like to find out?

Clearing the cobwebs out of the soular mind begins with questioning the very foundation of one’s belief system. It doesn’t hurt at all and it does lead to deeper understanding. This path is not for the timid, but your courage will definitely be rewarded.

A great companion book is StuBBing My TOE on Purpose – A Seminal View of Consciousness, Cosmology and the Congruence of Science and Spirituality, available on Amazon and CreateSpace.

Author Zen Benefiel offers a healthy dose of spiritual wisdom for an “out-of-this-world” reader experience. Some dynamics which make this book a helpful guide are the author’s out-of-body experiences, his education and unique intelligence, combined with (but not limited to) an aptitude for research, diverse content synthesis and organization, complete with workbook opportunities for reflection on the provided material.

Zen embraces psychological, scientific, intuitive and mystical explanations, offering practical exercises for meditation, releasing emotional blockages, mentorship, deepening the experience of “flow,” and more. Where relevant, Zen gives simple and effective definitions of spiritual terms for comprehension, and methodical processes for readers to achieve similar results with the suggested exercises. The author’s knowledge of mental-emotional transformational methodologies makes for well-explored and deeply penetrating lessons on the self-help topics.

Woven by the common thread of his mystical experiences, Zen continually provides insightful logic regarding the ultimately inevitable connections among science and spirituality, connecting within, and galactic citizenry. Meaningful personal stories from the author’s physical life experience are steeped in wisdom. That said; the author’s emotional vulnerability is a great asset to humanizing the mystical experiences he lives out.

Zen’s authentic sharing creates a good foundation for us (the readers) to contemplate and realize the unique reality to which we have embraced and have been exposed. The book reveals compelling evidence that we can each go beyond our normal waking consciousness to connect in higher and finer ways. The material provided ties into an overall cosmic picture, complex enough to stretch our ideas of reality and cosmic responsibility while, at the same time, practical enough to not lose accessibility in the lessons offered.

Ethereal experiences are occasionally scoffed at due to popular misconceptions of an ethereal person’s resulting incongruence with normal reality (aka, “airy-fairy”). However, sound reasoning and pragmatic advice ensure that readers like us can learn from the offerings even if we aren’t able to relate the material in its entirety. For example, Zen offers practical guidance on the most basic and often overlooked necessity of balancing and resolving our emotions. Since such healthy (and practical) behaviors aren’t yet common sense for mankind, we could clearly argue that not only is a person’s reality highly relative to the beholder, but reality is also highly relative to how many people are beholding it. In other words, common sense is relative to what a group considers common. Even then, a high commonality doesn’t necessarily indicate truth.

The book finishes with a long anticipated, full-blown explanation of the author’s involvement with the Ashtar Command and galactic citizenry at large. It completes with thought-provoking inquiries that are artfully designed, not to coerce, but to make the reader ponder their own spiritual and galactic responsibilities. At minimum, the existing platform from which the author invites the reader to make positive considerations for spiritual living is a love-based one. If you are a fan of the Ashtar Command and the Celestial Alliances, you’ll like this book even better. Regardless of what you believe or experience, this versatile book can be of benefit to you.

Curious? Check it out.

Secret Space Program… What are we to think?

There has been speculation about a secret space program for decades. Some information and proponents (whistleblowers) have entered the Ufology scene on many occasions over the years. It seem the debate is reaching epic proportions now with the various ‘experts’ in the field.

I have to profess I do not know Corey Goode, but I do David Wilcock. I’ve known the latter for over a decade and I find his sharing of information seems to be solely based on regurgitation rather than sincere research. He sure has the attention of a lot of folks, but is it a genuine and sincere representation of the facts that are ‘out there’ for us all to discover?

I’ve observed Andrew Basiago for some years now, always a bit uneasy in my perception of him, paralleled with what I sense with Randy Kramer. I love to believe stuff, though, so my spidey sense may or may not be correct. I tend to trust it although I don’t always have outright proof to back it up.

That being said, I’ve known Richard Dolan and Michael Salla for a while; Richard and few years and some time in personal conversations that were relevant as well as Michael, whom I’ve known for over a decade. We greet each other by name and pleasantries always. Both have done their fair share of research and have intelligent if not brilliant minds.

Their personalities are juxtaposed by their gullible and suspicious natures, it seems. Their professional admiration and respect for each other allows some interesting dialog about this [SSP] particular subject recently. There appears to be sufficient magnetizm to the subject to polarize many and, imho, perhaps manages to distract us from and obfuscate the truth.

It seemed to start with Bill Ryan’s bold statement and video a few months back. I also know Bill to be a relatively level-headed individual whom I’ve known about as long as Michael Salla. I met Bill and Kerry Cassidy during the early days of Project Camelot (no longer partners and the last time I saw Kerry she seemed out of control paranoid) during a conversation with Ralph Ring at the IUFOC in Laughlin in 2007. I didn’t know who they were at the time, but seemed to be lurking waiting to speak to Ralph, so we invited them to sit with us.

Nowadays there are many factions playing out in the field of Ufology and few of them, other than a few true professionals, focus on congruent and/or consistent threads of information that come from different sources, as a sign of potential reality in truth. Individuals with non-verifiable information and/or documentation that is only validated by one or two individuals still remains a bit suspicious, but does not make it false.

Richard Dolan has always seemed to be a consummate professional, as well as Michael Salla. Both have responded differently and have engaged an interesting public dialog, Richard in his usual straightforward nature and Michael sharing what he believes to be validation. It seems they both are getting extra press as well as the whistleblowers.

I tend to wonder just how any ‘leaks’ of information would really benefit the public. The programs are perhaps undeniable and, at best, spoken of only in passing interest but certainly not available as any transparent program as of yet. The public may not be able to handle the truth, frankly. It does provide for some very interesting debate and distraction from our daily travails, though.

I wonder if there is yet something more at play, beyond the ‘secrecy’ and more in the open for anyone to experience. We all are familiar with the best hiding places, right? That would be right out in the open and so incredulous to most that it is easily and quickly dismissed by nearly everyone except a few.

I think Ruth Montgomery and others wrote about such things decades ago and their topics still don’t see the light of day in hardly any organized Ufology events. As a final thought, I wonder how the secret space program got thrown into Ufology in the first place.

And the debate goes on…
