Contact in the Desert – New Dates

CONACT 2015Contact in the Desert New Dates

Now in its third year amidst the desert background in the Joshua Tree area, Contact in the Desert is moving the the end of May. Patrons are getting their wish as the previous August dates, even with the Perseid meteor showers, was challenging to heat-sensitive folks. It’s a beautiful venue, though.

Joshua Tree Retreat Center is the oldest and largest retreat center in the Western United States; a unique architectural landmark on a sacred site. Their mission is to support the education and nourishment of the infinite human potential. The atmosphere is certainly conducive, especially with the new dates for the 2015 Contact in the Desert event.

New Date: May 29 – 31

This year will bring many of the same speakers and vendors as the previous years. The event grew tremendously from 2012 to 2013 and this year is anticipated to be even larger. The schedule has not been released as of yet, but it is anticipated within by the end of January. If you are going to stay onsite, it would be a good idea to get your accommodates soon as they will fill up quickly.

There are some hotels in the area, but none within a reasonable walking distance from the event site at 59700 Twentynine Palms Highway, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Weekend conference passes have included meals at the onsite cafeteria. The staff and volunteers are helpful and ut in a lot of hard work to make this event a success. Keep an eye on the Contact in the Desert InMemoriamwebsite for updated information to appear soon.

There are several gathering places onsite as well, for meet and greets and general conversation. The Rose Cottage will also host after-hours gatherings for patrons and special guests attending the conference as well. Our UfologyPRSS curator will be attending, too.

There have been contests for free tickets in the past, so hopefully this year will be no different. We’ll keep you updated as things progress. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter. Look forward to seeing you there.

WEIRD WIRED WORLD OF UFOLOGY

joe ferrier post cardWEIRD WIRED WORLD OF UFOLOGY

by Timothy – “Mr UFO” – Beckley

Let me tell you “radio” sure as hell has changed from when I was a kid. A lot of stations went off the air at sunset and your choice of music or talk was severely limited. You couldn’t choose from rap, or Reggie and classic rock was decades down the road, as Led Zeppelin wasn’t around to take you to Heaven yet and Ozzy’s bat still had its head intact. You had to settle pretty much for the Make Believe Ballroom or some Top 40 station playing Frankie Valli hits. Talk was a bit better. There was more local programing than today.

frank edwards

Frank Edwards was the first commentator to add UFO reports to his radio lineup.

Every major market had its own “king of the airwaves.” The first  show, circa 1950,  I know of that relied heavily on UFOs was  hosted by a reputable newsman Frank Edwards who had a nightly program on the Mutual Radio Network sponsored by the American Federation of Labor. Edwards, who later wrote Flying Saucers Serious Business (probably the best selling UFO book of all time) had read an article in True magazine by Major Donald E. Keyhoe and was so impressed that, he started to pepper his broadcast with UFO news which turned out to be exceedingly popular with the public. This may be one of the few active links  to an Edward’s presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJtZtFA0erw

Then, long before Art Bell,  came the granddaddy  of  paranormal/UFO broadcasting. Long John Nebel was  a lanky 6 foot 4 pitchman who worked the Jersey Shore auction circuit and  was ultimately “discovered” by a sales  manager from WOR, a 50,000 watt powerhouse station that could be heard across 30 states. Nebel  broadcast seven nights a week from midnight till 5, from a studio just  off Time Square.

Long John's nightly Pary Line interviewed many of the early UFO contactees like George Adamski.

Long John’s nightly Pary Line interviewed many of the early UFO contactees like George Adamski.

Nebel was the first commentator to utilize the telephone in order to take calls from  listeners, though initially only John’s portion of the conversation could be heard over the airwaves. He simply repeated the questions. Later, a seven second delay was created  and low and behold history was made as the listener calling into the show in the dead of night could be heard from their homes. The two way conversation was born!

At times Long John’s program was  a true Three Ring UFOlogical Circus as the likes of Jackie Gleason – an immense UFO buff ( his personal library on UFOs is housed in the University of Miami) but a skeptic as far as the early flying saucer contactees were concerned – battled it out with the likes of  George Adamski, George Van Tassell, Orfeo Anguelucci and others who claimed to have met long haired Venusians and professed to have  traveled  to other planets. It was  a UFO era unto itself and one that is hard to dismiss even if only for nostalgic reasons.  Nebel had a huge listener base that ran from the mid 1950’s till his passing from cancer in April 1978.

shaver

Richard Shaver said he went to the cavern world inhabited by the mutant Dero.

Here LJ and panel members speaks with Ray Palmer UFO publishing pioneer and co founder of Fate magazine and Richard Shaver a “science fiction” writer who maintained that there was a race of mutant  cave dwellers who were abducting  humans for sadistic purposes and  using them as slaves. Shaver also maintained that these menacing cavern dwellers, the Dero, were in contact with vast fleets of space ships coming to earth to ransack our planet of gold and other minerals. Shaver’s paranoid ravings caused a great deal of controversy and even Life magazine devoted part of an issue to the topic of the inner earth. Many UFO buffs even today accept Shaver’s contention that flying saucers have set up shop either inside the planet, or at least in underground bases occupied by aliens. .You are free to  reminisce at this link with this interview recorded in 1956 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTGYlTXpcpc

Though the main thrust of this column will be the current state of  UFO podcasting and trending YouTube videos,  very month I will link  to at least one older program that might be lurking around in a hidden, dusty,  archive somewhere. Why should today’s contemporary  UFO researcher miss out on the opportunity to hop aboard the UFO time machine and go back to yonder days,  when the pickings  of UFO shows on the airwaves might well have been equally as ripe as today’s choices.

No one listens to more UFO oriented programing than I do. My lap top is always buzzing away with an archived show in the day time while I work on the latest Conspiracy Journal,  and when I retire to my loft bed at night my Kindle usually is tuned in to  either  Clyde Lewis’ Ground Zero http://www.groundzeromedia.org/listen-to-ground-zero/ for the latest conspiracies,  and later to Coast to Coast AM if they have on a guest speakCoasting about  UFOs or the equally bizarre. I listen intently to KHVH-AM which streams the show out of Honolulu. I like this station  because C2C is repeated twice and I can listen till about 9 AM the next morning (Eastern) till the regular day time program starts up (boo!). Normally, I fall asleep and wake up several times to hear choice tidbits from George Noory or George Knapp.

I have been a regular guest on probably over a thousand shows since around 1964. I have even produced a couple of paranormal programs. I always have a great new guest  up my interdimensional sleeve for some supportive UFO host. The late Kevin Smith really was a busy man. Most UFO podcasts are broadcast once a week. Kevin who died of a heart attack recently produced a nightly program.. Got to appreciate how much work that involves. I wish his show was archived out there in the galaxy somewhere.  I did find an interview with Kevin at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/prophecykeepers/2013/10/22/the-late-kevin-smith-cherokee-talk-show-host-ufo-warrior

Recently, I invited a gentleman who is an historian by profession, but who just happens to have spent the last 6 years investigating a remarkable series of UFO “crash” landings outside Kingman, AZ that took place in 1953. This is one of those early Roswell-like incidents which has largely been ignored and thought to have been a hoax. Harry Drew says it is anything but, and has provided some incredible documentation that this incident is not a fabrication. He says there are over a dozen locals who witnessed the events,   and tells of the remarkable way in which the military carted away the objects, and an incident in which several survivoring Ultra-terrestrials where being kept in protective custody in the sheriff’s highly secure underground bunker only to vanish with the heavy door securely locked.  This is a really titillating podcast and you can beam in on it now at www.theouteredgeradio.com

* * * * *

Closing out our first edition of the Weird, Wired, World of UFOlogy I can’t help but highly recommend The Outer Edge hosted by Tim R. Swartz and Michael Mott every Sunday at 9 PM West Coast time and midnight Eastern. In the past year or so, they have managed to interview many credible  researchers who have not been over exposed like Tessa Dick the wife (number five) of the late, great, Sci Fi writer Philip K. Dick (Blade Runner, Total Recall, etc)  who had some really peculiar – damn right oddball – encounters with a strange woman who appeared at his door and beamed a pink ray at him which infused his mind with incredible information, proving, he says the existence of a real Matrix.

Well that’s it for now. If you host a pod castor a You Tube channel let me hear from you by sending me a link and telling me a little about your show. Mrufo8@hotmail.com is the place to send it with PODCAST in the subject line for easy identification.

Contact in the Desert recap

Alien.317The second Contact in the Desert event at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center was held this last weekend. Attendance grew to well over a thousand people in spite of the sweltering heat. When asked about possible date changes the event organizer, Paul Andrews, stated that the reason Perseid Meteor showers are most visible then. I’m not quite sure what that has to do with ‘contact’ but suffice it to say the dates will probably remain the same for next year.

Speakers presented on a varied of topics and you can research that on the Contact website.Since I know most of the presenters and am very familiar with their work, I spent most of my time among the participants to get a feel for the ‘common man’s’ observations and reflections on the subject at hand. From the queries I made, there is a vast array of perspectives and revelations (so to speak) being promoted, but not much is being done to query the crowd or seek out the experiences of real contactees. There is a lot of talk about consciousness, but no opportunities ti explore aside from the limited number of devices provided by a few of the vendors.

There was a surprise visit by one of the wayshowers of the consciousness movement, IMG_0703Barbara Marx-Hubbard, who happened to walk in and sit a few feet away, just before a small cadre of folks gathered around her for a short discussion. it was obvious that she was unfamiliar with advanced non-human intelligence, but she spoke of the need for a collective gathering around the possibility of open communication. Later in another short chat she mentioned spoke of a woman who had a large following in Canada and claimed to be a mouthpiece for the universal feminine principle many, many years ago and she thought it was a cult. The individual was part of a mass abduction in 1973.

The point regarding the latter is that expanded or cosmic consciousness can present itself through a variety of forms and sources, from crop circles to ‘channels’ that perform specific tasks for communicating information humans may not quite understand yet. I found it interesting the Ms. Hubbard could not see the significance of her own cult, but it was not my job to propose that view. Regardless, the worlds are bridging and the fact that she was at this event shows that walls are coming down and people are beginning to recognize the significance of non-human interactions. Many of the attendees I spoke with reflected the same and were frustrated that more focus is not on the communications that have been taking place.

alienanimation19In all fairness the groups that were assembled for the purpose of sharing experiences were littered with stories that would have taken a master coagulator to find the common thread in them. Most of them were related from a very human-centered and fear-based perspective. The obvious reflection was we fear what we do not understand and the interpretation of experiences is through a very linear lens. More experienced contactees argue the point that no fear is necessary and our view through that lens is extremely skewed and simply incorrect. The simple notion that everyone I spoke to agreed upon was that we are cosmic consciousness condensed into form becoming aware of the fact.

The expansion of that simple notion spans myriad places, spaces and realms of consciousness across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. The scientific discoveries that back up the notion of multiple dimensions and attending bodies (part of our multidimensional self) are beginning to bleed over from astrophysics and quantum physics. Questions and theories viewed through linear lenses seem to skew the view intended by the above-human intelligence. There seems to be a general consensus, though, that non-linear and non-local experience is necessary in order to have a better view of the big picture, incapable of being seen let alone understood by those who have not entered the non-linear and/or non-local worlds of consciousness. We need ways to create opportunities, safely, for folks to have experiences. We also need to have better conversations about them

In an effort to continue the growth of UfologyPRSS Blog I reached out to several noted authorities and old friends and invited them to write for us. Many agreed to provide material and to review existing material, written and video, that is on the Web at time. We’ve assembled a huge variety of feeds from around the world and many seem to have conflicting stories or present skewed views through very human lenses. We hope these new additions will help to develop better discernment tools for the material. Not everyone has a pure agenda for getting at the truth and whenever profits are involved you can be sure there will be controversy and withholding of truth. Our job is to share what we find.

In the future we look for open conversations that focus on the development of situational protocols that include tools to discern how the experiencer is interpreting their experience in order to get a more objective and clear perspective or the purpose. Apparently information from trusted sources indicates that human ‘spiritual’ awareness still isn’t congruent with cosmic consciousness (soul) in that we think we have a choice in our experiential timeline. Abductees complain about being taken against their will but give no credence to the possibility that there is another timeline they have no knowledge of, one they agree to participate in before incarnating here on Earth.

What do you think? Please respond below.

UFO Abductee, Contactee or something else?

Alien.317UFO Abductee, Contactee or something else?

There are many conversations and investigations about UFOs. If you look around the field the vast majority of the attention is on physical phenomena, usually sightings and their investigations. Most of the books are written about rehashes of events. There have been those claiming new discoveries about UFOs or recounting hypnotherapy sessions from supposed abductees and contactees. None of it really has a solid feel to it, just like the interdimensional visitors.

There are some other stories beginning to surface, though, that push the limits of credibility because they are about a much richer engagement. Over the past decades there have been hints of a broader field of interaction. There are claims of humans who find themselves part of a greater experience they find difficult, if not impossible, to explain or understand. Still, the consistency of these claims and similarities of stories tend to indicate that something is indeed surfacing, a gathering of souls with consciousness and intelligence that behavioral scientists and psychologists find fascinating.

Before we explore this any further, we ask that you suspend your belief system for a moment and try to fathom a reality few consider, let alone experience. There have been some authors and researchers who have explored the deeper implications of contactees and experiencers. Some have reported on accounts revealed from hypnosis, like Barbara Lamb, Delores Cannon and Yvonne Smith. Others have taken a more straight forward interview style like Dr. Scott Mandelker, Dr. Steven Greer and Kerry Cassidy / Bill Ryan in previous years. They each have their particular focus and style, but none really look at the depths.

Imagine you are a young person who, for whatever reason, has been adopted early and may or may not be aware of the fact. There is something that stirs within you that just feels different; a sense of being aware of a much greater reality but you are unable to articulate those feelings as a youth. Your dreams are full of other worldly experiences and occasionally there are things that happen around you that, if you called attention to them, would only cause others to discount your observation or deny it even happened.

As you get a little older, you find yourself having ‘dreams’ of seeing yourself leaving your house through a window, a wall or even out the door and rising up into the air into a brightly lit cloud. In the late 50s and early 60s the orange cigar-shaped clouds were the most common. You enter that cloud and next thing you know you are waking up in bed feeling invigorated and you cannot wait to go back. You have no memory of being inside the cloud, but you know it was fun and completely safe from harm. You want to share the experience, but something tells you it wouldn’t be wise. After all, it is just a sensation other than the memory of watching yourself in the process of getting to the cloud.

After a few years the experiences seem to dwindle and stop, but the memory haunts you because there is ‘something’ that happened. You may even notice that your way of thinking is much different than the others your age, being more focused on curious notions about life or why people do what they do. You get along with just about everyone, but there is something that keeps you feeling separate and unable to really connect with others for some reason. It isn’t a bit deal, but you feel like you are missing something as you continue to look for deeper connections in life and relationships.

When you reach the age of accountability in your late teens you begin to question life even more, possibly wondering what your purpose or mission in life may be and your curiosity continues to grow in strength until you almost become obsessive about it. You might even break down and hit your knees, since you’ve been taught that prayer is a way to seek answers beyond human. You want to know what truth is and the desire is so strong you feel like its worth giving up your life in order to find it. After all, that is what most religions teach.

So one day or night you have one of the most profound experiences of your life. There has been a voice that you’ve conversed with your entire life so far and didn’t realize it. This voice all of a sudden makes you aware of its presence, calling you by name and asking if you are willing to die for what you belief in. In a frantic grasp for a solid belief, you realize that a bigger-than-life belief is the only thing that will fit this call… cosmic consciousness or something similar is all you can think of and, in so doing, answer in the affirmative.

Before you know it you are surrounded by White Light, but then quickly move on to a sphere of pin points of light that you recognize as points of consciousness. You don’t know why you recognize them as such, but it just resonates with your very soul. Then you find out these are others just like you and somehow you are to work together to achieve a transformation of your world over time, but in your lifetime. The next thing you know you are back in your body taking a gulp of air you didn’t know you needed and everything becomes real in that instant.

Many years later you begin having interactions with other beings not of this world, seemingly, because they do not look human. There is a certain resonance with them, though, and they feel like what you were seeking so many years ago, a deeper sense of family. You still don’t know how to explain it and you know you’d be insane for sharing these experiences with others because you’ve witnessed how ‘different’ people have been treated by your nuclear family and friends. You are conflicted with your sense of familiarity with these ‘others’ and the notion that you might be mentally unstable, chemically imbalanced or just plain nuts.

You have been able to hold a job and work in the daily travails of earning a living or even raising a family, so the the question of sanity gradually dissipates. Still, there is no one to talk with about what is going on inside with some bleed-over outside of you at times. So you start asking questions internally and find that your life begins to change as a result. Others like you begin to show up, asking similar questions and sharing stories quietly so that the ‘public ear’ doesn’t pick up on your obviously questionable notions.

The notions of possibility begin to emerge; that you may indeed be part of something bigger and/or may have your roots in another civilization from across the universe. It seems outlandish and unpopular, yet there is a sense within you that it is indeed possible. You know that if you talk about it that others will distance themselves from you with no remorse. There is something important about it, though, and try as you might there is no one to talk to about it. You know that humans can be barbaric and downright inhumane to their own kind, so you keep your mouth shut and just hope that someday a story emerges that opens the door to sharing your real feelings and thoughts.

Now that you’ve read the above and hopefully allowed your own beliefs and/or suspicions to be set aside for the moment, just give it a little thought. For the sake of this article and the reflection from the field of experiencers, let’s assume this is a reality for some, possibly many. Let’s ask a few intelligent questions about the potential reality:

  • If this happened to you, what would you do?
  • If this happened to a friend or loved one and you found out, how would you respond?
  • If you met someone that had a credible background, performed well professionally and claimed the potential of being connected to an off-planet civilization – what would you think?

Maybe this will begin some conversation. Feel free to reach out offline, too.

The Orange Orb – Regan Lee

ReganLeeRegan Lee is a UFO witnesses and writes on her own UFO related sightings and experiences, as well as the UFO phenomena in general. Regan’s interests are not limited to the UFO phenomena, but include paranormal, cryptozoological and esoteric subjects.

Ms. Lee has a variety of interests spanning the gamut within Ufology and blogs for several sources including UFO Digest, The Orange Orb, Saucer Sightings and Binnall of America. Her interest goes beyond the curious or investigative. She’s had her own experiences that she has sought to know more about, come to terms with and even integrate into her reality. She knows there is more to Ufology than just the ‘saucer sightings’ that hit the major media markets.

Regan says, “There are a few UFO or paranormal related experiences in my life that I haven’t shared public, for a variety of reasons. Mainly, they’re — more correctly, I’m — too embarrassed to acknowledge. Some are very personal and “embarrassing” or maybe intimate is a better word, others are almost goofy in my perceived embarrassment. And sometimes the event is something I’m not sure what to do with, regardless of embarrassment factor.”

Most of the experiencers I know are somewhat shy and would rather not be exposed to scrutiny, yet they have ongoing and very real events that often don’t have anything to do with physical sightings or calling in craft. They really don’t seem to be interested in pursuing those kinds of activities because it doesn’t mean anything or much to them.

What they [experiencers] are trying to make sense of is the internal dialog, the non-linear jumps and non-local moments of insight and/or observation of events that span the gamut of our physicality and reach far beyond normal experience, offering a glimpse of our evolutionary process perhaps. The more we discover the stranger truth becomes as stories are corroborated through shared experiences across the Web.

As evidence of this I offer the multiple acknowledgements of various kinds and types of frequencies, tones or vibrations that experiencers notice during non-local events. There is really no amount of training I’m aware of here that facilitates the interpretation and/or understanding of this language in or on a linear relationship. We all experience various phenomena during these ‘event horizons’ including physical events like books falling off shelves or movement of objects, music/tones or vibrations across low to high frequencies, even voices we recognize or at least feel are familiar in some way.

Thanks for your contributions, Regan. You can find her at The Orange Orb and Saucer Sightings. Let her know how much you appreciate her.

Mike Clelland and Hidden Experience

Mike Clelland is a ufology blogger and Hidden Experience is his creation. He is an unassuming guy when you first get to know him. He’s considerate and conversant on a number of topics, including his love of hiking. His bright eyes are both observant and present as he engages others in conversation. I met him some years ago for the first time at an International UFO Congress. He seemed a really likeable guy whose interest in Ufology was a little deeper than most.

Since then, I’ve come to know Mike as a stand-up guy that does his best to stay rooted in inquiry without judgment. That’s a tough one to find in Ufology as most folks have some kind of agenda they are pushing, whether it’s book sales or some newfangled device. Mike is just a real down-to-earth guy who does his homework and presents what he finds with as clear and articulate a method as he can muster. His blog, Hidden Experience, is a great read.

Of course that doesn’t mean he stays in areas that are comfortable or convenient within Ufology. Far from it. His recent article on Roger Marsh questions the status of addressing the abduction and contactee phenomena. Roger had been recently interviewed and stated that he had to set that topic aside, essentially. Now to put that in perspective he is the editor for the monthly MUFON Journal. Traditionally MUFON is focused on physical phenomena and not on individual/subjective experiences. So it stands to reason that he has to put his opinions aside when functioning as a professional representing MUFON.

Mike still explores the question of abduction and contactee events, though. Roger was not offended by Mike’s inquisition at all. It wouldn’t surprise me if Roger even appreciated that Mike brought up the subject in the first place. So what of abductions and/or contactee experiences? Do they deserve more research and scrutiny with an open yet objective perspective? It would seem so. After all, wouldn’t we want to know what the ETs are saying?

I have to admit, though, that this brings up a vastly more subjective and often surreptitious field of play. There is tremendous polarization amongst the constituents of ufology from alien take-overs for control of resources, human and material; to a new world order of harmony among people and planet facilitated by humankind with ET help. Thrown in to the mix is the constant call for disclosure that seems almost anticlimactic now. What are your thoughts?

ET Phone Home… Contact in the Desert Review

Michael, Z & GiorgioET Phone Home…
Was there Contact in the Desert?

Held at the Joshua Tree Retreat and Event Center, renown for its history of prominent personages and gatherings. Contact in the Desert brought folks from all over the world to hear many of the most prestigious names in Ufology today. This was literally one of the hottest multidisciplinary events in Ufology history, not to mention the weather. We didn’t get the chance to hear everyone, but we asked a lot of questions of the patrons who had gathered. Our cottage was a gathering place for after event conversations and meteor shower gazing.

Ear to the Ground

panel - et contactGeorge Noory [Coast to Coast host] was one of the highlights of the event. He led a panel that shared a variety of perspectives on the subject of ufology which also included some reflections on where we’ve been, where we are and where we are apparently going. Going into detail on those subjects would take volumes.

Suffice it to say don’t believe everything you hear and test that which you do with your own experience and understanding. We’re much closer to each other than one might think. Dr. Steven Greer‘s CE-5 gathering didn’t get a lot of compliments, though, yet the folks were glad to have had the opportunity to gather together with intention.

Michael Tellinger‘s presentation highlighted his ongoing discoveries of ancient artifacts and the connections with psychospiritual technologies used to move large objects. Alfred Webre‘s concern for what he calls ‘transhumanists’ and their electronic manipulation of DNA from a distance led to understanding the capacity of conscious awareness being able to circumvent any such action. Celeste Yarnall expressed that letting go of fear is the key to ascending from the trauma of life, let alone abduction. We’re all looking for the next step in our human evolution.

Surprises… or not.

After over a decade of corresponding, Alfred & Zen finally meet.

Alfred & Zen finally meet after being introduced by Winifred Barton over a decade prior. Our conversation was one of the highlights of the event.

Reports from several attendees expressed concerns for sharing the truth. Many feel it should be free; consistent with the methods in which it is discovered. Yes it may come through a series of trials and tribulations, yet when one is willing to experience them the ‘truth’ is revealed. One speaker was said to have expressed to his audience that if they wanted the truth they had to pay him for it. How would you feel hearing that from the podium?

The overall consensus, at least in the sample group questioned about the event, was that we are evolving in our own understanding and ability to make better choices. The ‘message’ from ET is: ‘take care of yourselves and the planet.’ Seems its the age-old challenge of learning to get along. Civilizations that have developed the technology to travel dimensions, space, time and communicate telepathically all share this premise, not surprisingly consistent with the core of most religious and spiritual teachings.

Our capacity to connect with our star families leads us to greater awareness. More over, through our ‘right use of will’ the intended affects of the ‘controlling’ faction (HAARP, etc) are lessened by the advancement of consciousness within humanity. Finally, there was agreement with the presentation of humans as cosmic consciousness condensed into forms we call bodies. The conscious recognition of the fact is what the extraterrestrials are attempting to get through to us.

Ultimately many felt we are them, just in a lesser developed state of being on Earth so far, hence the conflicting understanding of lesser evolved and material-minded individuals and the more evolved spiritually-minded folks who see the prospects of harmony among people and planet as real.

The question is: How do we bridge the understanding with practical application of science and technology for the benefit of everyone?

Your comments and questions are always appreciated and welcome. If you find this information valuable, please share and don’t forget to visit our main site.

Lee Speigel’s Latest on Huffington Post

Writer, reporter, and paranormal expert Lee Speigel is the former host of NBC Radio’s “The Edge of Reality.” He’s hosted nearly 1,500 programs on unexplained phenomena, and previously worked at Westwood One Radio and ABCNews.com. He is the only person to produce a presentation at the United Nations on the subject of UFOs.

Lee has been a mainstay in the Ufology community for years, pushing the limits of public opinion and presenting information that few choose to investigate, let alone share. He’s been writing for The Huffington Post more recently and his most recent article is quite intriguing. Scientists are beginning to join the Ufology fray.

To paraquote from Lee’s most recent article and comments by Eric Davis…

“They’re wrong, naive, stubborn, narrow-minded, afraid and fearful.” says physicist Eric Davis about other Scientists who are afraid of talking about UFOs visiting earth.

“UFOs are real phenomena. They are artificial objects under intelligent control. They’re definitely the craft of a supremely advanced technology,” says physicist Eric Davis, a researcher of light-speed travel.

The physicist, who recently won an award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics for his study, “Faster-Than-Light Space Warps, Status and Next Steps,” knows many colleagues who quietly study UFOs. Why quietly ?

Why quietly indeed? Surely they wouldn’t be timid in sharing their beliefs and maybe even some of their discoveries. Possibly they are more pensive since there natural environment is very critical and wary of things ‘outside the box.’ Lee does a good job in exploring the matter and maintains the professionalism expected of such an accomplished person, but what about a more personal side of the equation.

There is still another area yet unexplored that seems worthy of investigation… contact. Many profess it, but have a real challenge articulating anything that sounds remotely grounded or understandable. It is an area in ufology that seems to have very little attention to date, yet is the topic of discussion in the background of many of the ‘gatherings’ of ufonauts.

Far too many sound like they have ADHD or ADD and have trouble stringing two cohesive unfragmented sentences together. Is it possible that the data downloads or non-linear and non-local events might have scrambled the circuits a bit. Are there any ‘professionals’ qualified to deal with such individuals in order to help them create some order and/or flow to the information they seem to have stored to share.

It is far easier to focus on phenomena, photos, videos and bits and pieces that are semi-tangible rather than move into the subjective areas of real conversation. Taking on the subject is one thing. Finding those who might be ‘qualified’ to speak is yet another. There is already a prolific polarity in the ‘camps’ of ufologists that span conspiracy theory to world evacuation.

What might the vetting process be for such individuals? Like the scientists who are reticent to come forward, might these folks be even more so based on the behaviors they’ve witnessed to date? Would we require them to have advanced degrees or would a carpenter or housewife be considered credible?

It would seem only logical to consider these individuals eventually. What do you think?
